As Senior Associate, Amarjargal has advised a syndicated consortium of international lenders in preparing secured financing documentation for the largest copper mine in Mongolia. She regularly advises clients in matters of corporate debt, secured financing transactions and credit facilities.
Amarjargal is an expert in mining and the Mongolian Minerals Law and advises clients regarding mining regulatory requirements and permitting. As part of her mining industry practice, Amarjargal advises as to ESG standards, environmental protection and project reclamation regulations.
She is experienced in international transactions, including corporate mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, international sale of goods, and real estate development, and she has supported international counsel in international dispute resolution and arbitration proceedings.
Prior to joining LehmanLaw Mongolia LLP, Amarjargal served as Senior Policy Researcher with the National Legal Institute of Mongolia, where she assisted in policy research and recommendations regarding laws such as the Minerals Law, Business Law and Administrative Law.
Amarjargal previously served as in house legal counsel with Mobicom, Mongolia’s largest telecommunications carrier, where she specialized in corporate compliance and dispute resolution.
Amarjargal holds a Bachelor Degree in International Law from the National University of Mongolia, School of Law, and holds an LLM in Sustainable International Development from the University of Washington School of Law.
She is a member of the Mongolian Bar Association and the Mongolian Lawyer Association.
