Mr. Blacklock has led the LehmanLaw Mongolia LLP legal team for 8 years. In this time he has advised the firm’s clients on issues ranging from the largest mining finance transaction in Mongolia’s history, to setting up Mongolian companies and structuring foreign FDI. Jacob is a Foreign Registered Attorney in Mongolia and is licensed as an attorney in Texas. Jacob has experience providing legal support across all aspects of business and investment in Mongolia, including real estate investment and development, Mining, project finance and securitized transactions, competition and monopoly law, product liability, corporate compliance, regulatory compliance and permitting, cross-border trade, intellectual property protection, and Commercial disputes and international arbitration. |

Jacob has obtained certification in Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and the Law, and has advised clients regarding compliance with Mongolia’s Virtual Assets Service Provider Law, regulating cryptocurrency and digital assets activities within the country.
Mr. Blacklock also assists with employment related issues, including providing assistance in preparation of employment agreements and compliance from the employer’s perspective, as well as providing support to individual employees seeking compensation from an employer.
Jacob regulatory assists with drafting business contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, supplier agreements, and distribution agreements.
